1. Someone turns 65 in February of 2013. During the AEP they decide try out a MAPD plan for the first time January, 2014. Within the first year of having their MAPD plan issued (October, 2014), could they switch back to the same type of med supp they originally had, with guarantee issue rights?

2. Someone is issued a med supp (G Plan) starting 8/1/2013. Can they switch to an F plan 5 months later (12/1/2013)? And/or could they switch companies and keep the same type of plan 5 months later (with guarantee issue rights)?

***I know that across the board, guarantee issue lasts 3 months after their birthday month, but are there companies that extend that period to 6 months beyond the birthday month, such as is the case with many companies allowing 6 months prior? And if so, which ones?
