Appointment Transfer

In what situation I can transfer my appointment with a carrier to the the new agency as an independent when moving from one agency to another? Some says you're free to transfer after 6 months of inactivities with the original agent. However some says the only way is to get the original agency to release you. The carrier in this case is ANICO.

I'm not sure with what product inregards to ANICO, you are asking as they have different contracting rules to different products.. However, you can have multiple contracts with ANICO, I have 3 different writing numbers with them.

I have a different writing number for their health products, life products, and annuity products... Shouldn't be a problem, just call Anico and ask.

Did you apply your contracts under the same agency or different agencies?

Just talked to ANICO. Yes, they allow multiple contracts for the same products under different agencie.
