Associate Agent with Nationwide Being Acquired

I have been with my current agent for 18 years. I just found out that my agent is selling the agency to another agent (acquisition). I have been searching for info on what to expect. Any advise out there..

I have been being paid 70% on all my business. I am on 1099.
