Has anyone else had a problem with Blue Shield and their retention bonus?
We have multiple members that were terminated and then reinstated by Blue Shield with no lapse in coverage or explanation as to why. Now because THEY did this (and have admitted it was their fault), we're not being paid retention on these members because they are now considered "new" and Blue Shield will do nothing about it except say sorry. This has cost us a lot of $, not to mention these "new" members are now at the new lowered commission rate.
This is for IFP in California.
