I have a client in CA and I need help writing that business.

Its for group health and life. They are a new organization partly funded by UCLA and purpose of the group is R&D.

They have 2 employees now and will grow to 15 by end of April.

You can set up a plan now with the two employees. Depending on their zip code and whether they prefer an HMO or Kaiser, I'd start shopping rates. Do you have a GA that can pull a quote for you with multiple carriers? Will they all be working in CA? Also make sure to get a DE9C as soon as possible to see who is on payroll, no 1099's allowed. If the group is growing to 15 in a few months that will allow you to offer more creative plans to the group. If you don't have any experience with group health a 15 person group is a huge undertaking. Especially COBRA and knowing what will work for the group. Do you have a GA?
