Carrier Illustration Software Vs. 3rd Party Software

How many of you guys use the carrier provided software and how many use 3rd party quoting software?
If your using 3rd party software, is it because your IMO or GA requires it? Or by choice?
Any thoughts on one method vs. the other?

I use both. One is for the rough and dirty (3rd party) and one is when I need to work with the numbers a little more to see what works best. (ie, switching DB in the future, etc.)

Like briko3, I use both. Compulife for term and GUL. Right now I really only use them for rough numbers and comparisons. To many changes that have not caught up yet. Can only completely trust the Co software. Also for riders and dump ins.

Third party all the way - Compulife for quick comparisons, Winflex for carrier-approved, detail-oriented illustrations.
