Cluster Groups, Agency Networks or Master Agencies?

I recently learned about Agency Networks and it seems like it might be easier to go through one of these groups rather than apply individually for all the different carriers, so my question is...

Does anyone recommend Cluster Groups, Agency Networks or Master Agencies?

Which is the best, and why?

I have been looking around and they all say they're the best, so I would like an unbiased opinion.

I would appreciate any advise.

Thanks in advance. ;o)

The answer to your question depends on individual specifics that you will have to decide for yourself. What's best for one agent may not be best for another.

I only have direct appts. So I can't give any opinions as far as who's good/bad. But to help speed along your research, two things I feel are must haves (and dealbreakers if not):

1. Own your own book of business.
2. Have binding authority. No agent wants to have to wait for approval to put a policy in force (some take 24ish hours to bind a policy, so I've heard).

Use that criteria and it will help narrow down your choices.

SIAA, Iroquois, Smart Choice are the three most popular at least on here.
