Scenario; New agent, needs to get off the ground relatively fast. Which is the easiest product? I conducted a poll - results below:

Final Expense: 31.19%
Term Life: 22.94%
Medicare Supplements: 17.43%
Individual Health Insurance: 12.84%
Other:8.26%
P&C (Auto & Homeowners):4.59%
Permanent Life (UL/WL): 1.83%
Annuities: 0.92%
Group Health Insurance: 0%

Note: "Other" was write in responses, mainly Medicare Advantage.

Final expense is the new individual health. A few years back, almost all of my emails and calls referred to indie health; appointments, leads, and training.

Now about 80% of my calls/emails are about Final Expense. The product is simple, relatively affordable and there's a market for it.

The problem can be that FE and Medicare Sales will become oversaturated by former health agents and overreuglated by the government.

I have had at least a hundred new FE agents call me off this forum and talk about getting started. I try to be genuinely helpful to them.

But over and over I see the same thing. They won't do the work. They won't spend the money. They want magic words of what to say. They plan and plan and plan...but never act.

The failure rate is enormous of the ones that call me.

Maybe I'm the problem.

Never mind.
