Final Expense Question. Need Some Help

Hi there,

A client of mine wants to get final expense insurance after being approached by "COMMUNITY OUTREACH ASSOCIATE" from Dignity Memorial who is affiliated with SCI one of the largest funeral services group in the US.

My client said the sales person from Dignity memorial was very good, and says he needs it, but would get it through me.

Question is, I never provided final expense.

Can someone direct me in the right direction?
Who are the carriers? competitive rates, not much underwriting, what are the commissions rates?

THANKS VERY MUCH

What he was probably quoted through the Dignity rep was a funeral preplanning policy NOT final expense. The payments on that will be much higher unless he pays it off quickly (Dignity/SCI only gives 1-year same as cash.)

You need to partner up with an experienced FE agent unless he is perfectly healthy. If he has NO health problems you can just sell him traditional whole life. I would look at LaFayette Life for that one.

If he has some health problems just split it with an FE specialist so you don't have to contract with 5-different companies and get him declines before you find the right one.

What area are you in? There is probably one on here to help you. Or if you already know his health and Meds we can probably walk you through it.

Re: Final Expense Question <need Some Help>

Also depending on the face and age. example
Age 50
$30,000 WL
Non Med WL =$51.
SIWL = $68+

What part of Georgia -- I can send you an excellent agent if you're in the Atlanta area, or if you're in the North Georgia area, I'd be happy to work with you.

If it was REALLY an SCI/Dignity rep it was preneed insurance regardless of what they called it. They aren't allowed to sell FE insurance.

But YOU can. You can sell the Dignity FE plans through American Continental Life or American Memorial Life. Your website for the sales is at www.dignityplanning.com You can register and YOU can sell him a Dignity plan that the Dignity rep isn't allowed to sell.

It's a beautiful thing.
