If You Were New to the Business, and Lived in South Florida(Palm Beach County).. what Companies Woul

Just moved to South Florida recently and considering an Insurance license. I came across this site after searching for Symmetry Financial based in NC, and Senior Life Services (Vero Beach, FL).
My resumes on Monster/Indeed get inquiries from other insurance companies almost every week, but it's hard to tell which one is a good choice. I began to think SLS might be a good place until I read that Final Expense has some of the lowest commissions in the industry.

What companies here in South Florida should I be talking with?
Would it be better to just get my license and let the companies contact me then?

First off, you need to pick a niche. FE, medicare, term etc. Then find an IMO that specializes in that area. You're going to need leads, so you usually want an IMO that can help there as well.

There are many on the board here for Final Expense. EFES, 360, Todd King and others.

I know that Florida is pretty saturated in the FE market.
