In Need of Guidance

I am fairly new in the insurance industry. I am licensed in P&C and Life and Health. I am located in the Chicago area. Besides going the indy route, which captive company can offer the most thorough training, with a realistic opportunity to obtain agency? Is there one captive that stands above the rest, with a successful track record of transitioning trainees towards agency?

I thought that this forum would be an ideal way to gather legit info with the wealth of knowledge that is shared here. Any information on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

First you do not want to get yourself in a captive agency situation.
One of the benefits of being licensed is to be able to meet the clients needs from a variety of products not those under one label.

If you need to understand the difference better I could mentor you so you start off in the right direction, this is not a solicitation either.
