New Resource for Agents

In order to better assist agents everywhere - I will be posting to the Lead Heroes blog on a regular basis with sales tips, industry news/events and any other information that could be helpful.

I wanted to share this here with everyone because I would love to continue the collaborative effort that we created in our new book "How to Qualify, Present, & Sell Final Expense and Medicare Supplements to Seniors". We had 30+ successful agents contribute and I truly believe the final product has something in it for everybody (new agents and seasoned alike).

If you would like to contribute or if you have any other questions about the blog/book, don't hesitate to reach out!

Looking forward to reading the book, looking to transition into one of these two markets in the next several months. Hope this helps brings some unbiased info on both sups and FEX - in the current political climate any opinions on how the presidential changes could affect these industries?

Moving from another industry and stability in this political climate adds another layer of concern...I guess I am kind of half-jokingly asking if insurance is sold in a socialistic/communistic economy?

As you will hear from many agents both on and off this forum - the government could potentially cut commissions on MA/Med Supp sales like we are now seeing with the U65 market.

IMO, I don't see this happening anytime soon.

I do recommend finding a line of insurance that best suits YOU and once you are comfortable in that niche, begin expanding your sales/marketing efforts outside of that niche.

I hope the book can assist you in making an educated decision between Final Expense Life Insurance and Medicare Supplement Insurance!

I received my copy today. I feel led.

Scanning the book, I see a mix of reminders of things I've seen on the forums, and expansion and explanation of things I've seen on the forum.

It is nice to have a paper copy so one does not have to deal with technology or blue screen shielding glasses to read it.

Thank you.

Did you have more than 30 contributors to your book? I didn't count them. But I know many of the contributors in there are not successful agents. Maybe not many? But several.

Just wondering, what is considered a successful agent?

I suppose that's subjective? But there were a couple contributors listed in that book that have never been successful selling FE by any definition.

Then there were some I know are very successful. That makes me wonder about the ones I don't know.

Hello All!

I just bought the book and I am so excited to read it! I need all the help I can get in the Med Supp business:) I pick all of these little tidbits of info here and there so it wil be nice to have a resource with everything in one place. Thank you Geln and Justin for writing it!

Sincerely,

Melinda:)
