Wholesale Vs. Retail

Is there anyone that has worked on both the retail and wholesale side of the business? I’ve been on the retail side for 13+ years and may have an opportunity to go work for a wholesaler.

Even if you have only wholesale experience I would still welcome your thoughts on working for a wholesaler. Pros and cons.

Working for one is just a job..you get all the BS that comes along with that. Being one is a career. Bring value to agents they cannot get elsewhere and they will flock to you. Use another BGA/IMO for contracts or processing and grow. Make sure you own the agent. Wholesaling is not all rainbows and puppies though. You need to stand out from a huge crowd.
