GENMORTH or SBLI of Mass.

Hello everyone. This is my first time posting a thread, so every comment or piece of advice would be appreciated!
I need to know if anyone has any history with SBLI (Savings Bank Life Insurance) of Mass. I am trying to decide on which company would be better for my client?

Underwriting varies by carrier, so that must be factored in to decide which is "better", depending on your definition of better.

Never heard of Genmorth. Where are they located? Did you really mean to type Genworth?

Yes, I meant Genworth. All I want to know is if SBLI of Mass. has a good reputaion. I tried there website and all I got was a brief history of the company. They have a N/R rating with S&P and Moody's and a A+ with AM Best. Would anyone be hesitant on writing business with SBLI (Savings Bank Life Insurance)?

Make sure you check their conversion options. We ran some quotes for a client on Compulife and their 10-year term had no conversion option and the 15 year was pretty limited if memory serves correct.

SBLI is huge in Mass> I don't sell ind. life so I'm not sure how they compete but they are the dominate advertiser out here.
