Getting Appointed For MA Plans

Hi There,

Who do you guys suggest in getting appointed with for MA supplements for the enrollment period? I am in California, thanks for any info.

Anthem Blue Cross
Health Net
Aetna

Would be a good start. Rick (Greensky) is more an MA guy so he can tell you about other carriers in CA.

For information on any state, go to Medicare.gov and do a comparison of MA plans. You'll at least get an idea of what is available in 2008. There will be some changes for 2009, but I don't think the major players will differ much.

First, thanks for the info.

I went to the site, did the comparison, and found somewhere near 40+ companies that offer the various Medigap policies. None of those mentioned above were on the lists, however, there are several from which to choose. How do you suggest I filter them to obtain the cream of the crop?
