I am new to insurance and not exactly sure on how to fill out the acord apps they way underwriters want them. Is there anyway i can look up apps that are filled out correctly or can someone send me something they have used when they started. thank you
It has instructions for every ACORD form right there, and for a small fee you can download forms or auto-fill them. Should be a huge help for a newbie agent.
Hints:
1) Never submit handwritten ACORDS. Underwriters don't like them.
2) For most ACORDS you can get away with leaving many of the fields blank. You'll figure out which ones these are soon enough.
3) Attachments are OK if you don't have enough room on the form.
