Goodbye SEO, Hello ASM and 1st Page on Google!

If you're looking to be on the first page of Google's search results, read on.

In the interest of full disclosure, I have taken a position with AllCity Technology to sell these services. How many leads are being produced per month for life insurance sales for this $1000/month? That's a lot of leads I could buy on my own.....what can you do that Dave Miller can't?

"Guaranteed First Page On Google" means nothing. Anybody can easily (depending on the topic) write a blog article, submit another article etc...and be on Page 1.

Being on the 1st page has nothing to do with generating any leads. How is that possible?

I could get on the 1st page of Google in 2 weeks with minimal effort targeting local searches. I live in Odenton so I could hit page 1 easily with "odenton health insurance."

But tell me, how many people are searching "odenton health insurance." Right around 4 per year.

In order for me to drive real traffic to my site I need to target the state; "maryland health insurance."

And before I'd pay anyone $1,000 per month I'd want to see the financials - how many leads - proven - are people generating who are currently paying $1,000 per month.

If you don't see the proof you'd be a total sucker to pay that kind of money. Again, 1st page does NOT mean leads.

For a 52K investment (at least) with no agency owner alive dumb enough to accept a ROI of less than 1:4 you're talking about this generating over 200K a year worth of business?

Another marketing strategy to increase traffic. Sounds too good to be true but I do believe in SEO so I think this may work as well.

I assume this works by exploiting the current google search algorithm. This would explain the 1 year contract, since the algorithm will be changed in a few months (always is), meaning probably losing those first page rankings (and potentially being penalized).

These things always sound great. Not so sure they pan out in the end. I've done enough search engine work in my old job to know that no 'great solution' works very long. Google makes sure of that. It is in their interest to do so.

I am on page one for several search terms we have keyed in on and consistently stay there. Sometimes it bubbles up to position 3 or 4 and sometimes drops to 7 or 8 but I have been high on Google for several months now.

Sure, I get my share of tire kickers and uninsurables, but I got that with leads when I was spending several hundred per month.

I am very pleased with the SEO work Dave Miller did as well as the advice he has given over the months. He is unselfish, sharp and always willing to help or answer a question.

While I don't pay him $1000 a month he is worth every penny I paid and my ROI is amazing.
