Google Ads             Go to Top

Unlike some folks (Al, that means you) I have no objections to the banner ads. Sam has been generous to provide this forum at no charge to us and I believe all of us are appreciative.

But the latest revamp is bothering me a bit.

The Google Ads include links to agencies and quote engines and this . . .

The Producer's Alliance

Producers Alliance has been discussed in at least one thread and my recollection is, it was not favorable.

I don't know if you have the ability to screen or limit the type of ads placed, but IMHO ads for places like Producers Alliance cheapens the forum.

Re: Google Ads             Go to Top

You can add specific URL's (websites) to an exclusion list when you run Google ads, if you so desire.

When I run ads I exclude my own sites - so I do not pay for my own traffic , which is always fun. LOL.

I have never seen the ad you are referencing as Google is good about rotating and placing according to the page content. If you are on a thread relating, then the ad may show - if not it might not ever show up.

Thanks for bringing it up, I have added them to the excluded url list. (There are already a whole bunch of url's on the ban list)

Thanks

I have seen NAA advertised before too. You might have already banned them since I can't recall seeing it recently.

That is not my site. Rick made that site up when he was stalking me.

I don't stalk anymore. I subcontract it out to mortgage brokers in need of a job.
