It does look very intersting. I wonder how good the call quality is.

One downside would be having to get a new number.

If you try it out give us some feed back.

I've used Grandcentral for over a year now. Google bought them last summer and now changed the name to goggle voice.

You need 3mb minimum for good quality - but still at high traffic times - there is a lag, static and frequent dropped calls.

I use it very little anymore.

It sounded too good to be true, we use google at the office for most things.

I use it and it is decent. But only for outgoing. I use a toll free # from Ringcentral for incoming. Tried various VOIP options, but nothing works well 100% of the time-

RingCentral DigitalVoice (outgoing voip) - No good. You don't hardly ever hear the person picking up saying "hello". In my tests with non-clients, there have been complaints of delays.

Skype - Only 1 complaint, but that's enough to make me skeptical, especially for initial calls. I don't want to blow it.

Google Voice with Cell Phone - I've been using this combo for outgoing calls, but it's going to cost me in the end.

I used to have Vonage for almost 3 years. I dropped it after quality suffered. My internet connection is very fast - 15M. I hate to say it, I may decide to get a landline back with a long distance plan.
