All - I was wondering if anyone has a carrier who will do a group, GI LTC contract? I have a 20ish life client who would like to take a look at LTC on a group basis. Several of the people have health issues that would make them a decline in the indy market.

I have not dealt much with group LTC; any suggestions?

Would you be able to put together a census and the applicable SIC code? Or let me know what type of business?

Will this be employer paid?

Drop me an e-mail at: brad @ brookfieldpartners.com

I would be happy to be of assistance.

It'll be a lot easier jhust to do a multi life sale with 'simplified issue'.

Meadmerica or met life are your best bets.

If you can get the entire group to take it you should have no problems finding a carrier to give you GI.

If you have 10 of the employees taking it then GI is very possible. This does not mean its going to be cheap.

There's no such thing as 'guaranteed issue ltci' for only 10 lives.

It's simplified issue.

Simplified issue is a lot different than 'guaranteed issue'.

The mutual of omaha program is not exactly guaranteed issue. they still have to answer 3 health questions AND everybody in the group has to sign up AND the most amount of benefit that anybody can get is 150k in benefits.

Even with that program they can probably still get everybody issued on a simplified basis and then the employees would have more benefit choices.
