I'm looking for an EIA with an GWB (guaranteed withdrawal benefit). Here's the catch: I'm looking for one where the remaining contract value will continue to participate.

For example: A client place $500,000 in the EIA. They take out 5%/yr -- $25,000 in this case. Say the S&P 500 pt.-to-pt is 8%.

Wow, what a stupid post. I just realized that most carriers will allow for a penalty-free withdrawal each year of 5-10%.
