Who do some of you use for the hard to place people (tabled). The high bmi, diabetic, pdst and or all of the above? I had been using TBA, but this year, it seems as if everything's a no, compared to past years, when similar situations were a yes. I'm in a state that doesn't do guaranteed issue life, so can anybody suggest some contacts? thanks much.
Use a broker and let them shop your cases.....you will increase your placement ratio and know where to send the business before you even fill out an app. Lean on them for the knowledge. Carriers change all the time....they change how they underwrite depending on how much business they need.

Guys, I have been. I've been around the block a time or two. I was looking for someone new to try as I am wondering if I am getting the best efforts from who I was using or not.
To all, please post your answers or suggestions here, for all, not in a PM format. There should be no reason not to be public, in fact it may be good for business. Unless of course there's a reason you don't want others to see?

Ask for Josh Powell to give you the scoop on commissions. He has since moved into the disability department, but he should be able to help you out. You can tell him you were referred by David Goldenzweig (and no, I don't get anything for the referrals).
Ask for Dave Kloer to be your case manager and Matt Erpelding to be your main marketing help. They've been able to get us a lot of cases placed that would have otherwise failed and they have internal underwriters who can go back and forth with the company underwriters you are trying to work with if necessary instead of having to do it yourself. They use a lot of the top companies out there and do a great job shopping the cases if they come back with a risk class worse than applied for. If you want the direct phone numbers for any of them, just send me a PM.
