Health Case--Down Syndrome

I have a family that is trying to get insurance. The problem is they have a child with Down. They are in otherwise good health. Do you know of any carriers that would consider this?

I think it comes down to the treatment of the down syndrome. Call the underwriting and ask.

What you might want to do is write the paper on them and if the dependent gets declined then take the dependent to your state risk pool plan.

Yeah the great state of DE does not have a risk pool--nor does it have a medicaid plan for individuals >200% of FPL.

Premium is not the issue for them...coverage is.

I think World is the only one that will give them a look.
