Greg, if you are leaning toward health insurance, getting set up with Scott and HCO is highly recommended. He is a top notch guy who doesn't play games. Also take a look at John's IHIAA group- besides the discounts on leads, tools, and norvax, there is also good training many times weekly. AT $19.95 monthly, it pays for itself.
If you are considering life insurance and are looking to write 5K-10K weekly without leaving your home, good exclusive leads with a discount price, state of the art web-based quoting system and contact manager, paperless applications, let me know, I will get you some information.
Anything we can do to help you, just ask.
Marker, please e-mail me more info regarding the life program you're working, I'm looking at both options.
And thanks to all for your help and advice, HCO sounds very good.
HCO is the direction I'm going. I've been listening to the Webinars for three weeks now. My exam is on Tuesday. They are the most helpful place I've seen, even compared to the Life companies I worked with 15 years ago.

Thanks! I'm not too worried about it. I keep scoring 96% and above every time I take the L2G "Superman" exam for practice. Still reading through the NC supplement too.
Pass on both Life and Acc/Health for NC. When I get back from Japan in two weeks, I'll setup the Medicare/LTC exam (not that I'm going to sell it anytime soon).
Only problem, during the pre-screen questions, I answered "Yes" to the question: "Have you ever been licensed in another state or jurisdiction blah blah.......". They wouldnt issue on the spot for that, so I called, told them about it, faxed a written explanation that I had been licensed for Life/Health in Pennsyltucky for about five years from 1991 (expired), and for P&C in Delaware for about a year from 1997.
Hopefully, they'll just check (and find no records since it's been so long) and send my licenses.
I am newly licensed agent here in California and I heard that you should get appointed directly with carries here in this state. But also here good things about Health Choice One and there commission are just as good if I go direct. So my question is should I go direct or go with HCO any info will help?
As much as I like Scott and everyone else at HCO, you should get appointed directly for all carriers in CA. The advance you might get is not worth the cut in commission.

You can get a better deal sometimes going through a FMO. They can give you increases as you earn them along with bonuses. I did better going through an FMO.
