Can't always afford or qualify for a CI plan when they can for a cancer plan. I can tell you from personal experience if I had to choose between a heart/stroke CI plan or a cancer plan, I would choose the cancer in a heartbeat.

They do have good persistency. Standard Life and Casualty also has a lump sum plan along with dozens of other companies. I prefer an expense incurred stated benefit plan with a lump sum rider.. Use Washington National, CUL and UNL (for older ages)
