Humana Application Options

I have read several posts on recommendations to take a clients application if you are doing telesales.

One way was to do the application on-line and call Humana to get a verbal signature.

Another was to call Humana, do a three way call and have Humana do the application and they will send the client the esignature. However it was mentioned that these types of applications sometimes never go through because the client has problems with the esignature.

If the client has problems with the esignature is there a way to get a verbal signature by calling Humana after the application is completed by a Humana agent?

It would be through my website link. However, in my states, only Humana short-term rates are competitive, so the application is super-quick. This may not work so well if it was for any other type of coverage.

The other options might be better for non short-term plans.

Phone in apps require an electronic or wet signature. After the offer is made your client must either log in and sign the offer or sign the app and addendum then return to Humana.

big prob with humana... their system does not play well if the client has mac/apple. dont think they like steve jobs. a client who has the trendy liberal box known as apple will get half way through the esig requirements and BOOM, locks up....

solution? have humana fax u the docs and have the client sign and fax back....

can u say.... arse whuping

Supposedly they have fixed it and it now works with Safari. I have had a few clients with Mac's that have signed up without a hitch but have also had clients with PC's that had issues.

well... having a very liberal socialist wife from sweden we have 2 macs, 3 ipads and 2 iphone.... does that make me a bad guy?

When you're married you have to make compromises. It's understandable.

However, it doesn't really fit the image I have of a Texan on horse back, with a bull whip, tracking down the hippies, lassoing them, confiscating their Apple crap and running them out of town.
