Telesales, The Training Isn't That Bad?

I've primarily worked on the life side of my license, leaving the health business alone. So, with the ACA soon coming, I thought I would jump into the health arena and see how I could help my clients.

After reading some of the posts with negative telesales comments, I wanted to ask, has anyone else started working in health by way of telesales? Is it the quality of information that some of you seasoned agents do not care for? Considering the low overall costs to the carriers, do you think telesales may be the future?

Health insurance has been primarily sold by telesales for a long time.

The only time I meet my clients in person is if they are a friend/referral. primarily over the phone.
