Got a call from a lady that said her mom & dad have Time and the premium is astronomical.
Nothing earth shattering about that.
Then she said they were 62 & 63. Four years ago both had stents inserted due to blockage and both were placed on Zocor & Toprol. Neither are smokers, but mom is 5' 2" and 190#.
A year after getting the stents they got a policy with Time with "a really high deductible".
A year after the policy was issued, dad had a second stent. (I was still in shock over getting coverage that I neglected to ask if Time covered stent #2).
I don't know of a single carrier that will issue coverage when stents are in place, much less a year after the surgery.
Is this routine for Time or did someone pull a fast one and get away with it?
