Thank you. Most agents use their website to sell insurance and plans. I use my website to sell ME. No one buys insurance... they buy the agent. I spent 25 years in the computer consulting field and I learned that 'relationships' count far more than product knowledge.

I tell people to go to
http://www.InsuranceSolutions123.com
To find out more about ME and why you should choose ME, and why you will be better off with ME as your agent than going direct or using some other agent.

I don't give someone a reason to buy insurance as much as I give then a ton of (subtle, sub-conscious) reasons to buy (from) ME.

And the voice you 'hear' in your head when you read my site.... really is ME! (as is the 'voice' on http://www.jaya123.com/ another biz venture of mine)

I don't know if the site works that well in that I don't get a ton of people who say "I bought from you because I loved your site" but those who HAVE seen it have liked it... if for no other reason than it is simple (retro?) and without hype.

As for content, there is too much of it and I need to either cut it down or parcel it out to other topics.

The whole site was done via a $40 site-generator for the Mac called RapidWeaver (a DreamWeaver knockoff) and took all of four hours to put up... fifteen minutes to select the theme and 3 hours and 45 minutes to write the content. I'm a professional writer and owner of a publishing company (for about 15 years now... http://www.adams-blake.com ) so that's why the content is so long.

As Mark Twain wrote to a friend "I would have made this letter shorter, but I didn't have the time."

If anyone thinks there's a health insurance crisis they can sit next to me as I call 100 leads and talk to 90 people with absolutely zero interest in either saving money or getting health insurance.

Mandated health insurance             Go to Top

I think that if everyone (except those who qualify for medicade) were required by law to have health insurance then it would put less burdeon on the state and more on individuals to take care of themselves. I talk to so many people who want to take their chances and not get insurance and so many more who wish they got it before their health went south. So many people choose to go uninsured, and then expect an insurance company to bail them out after something major happens.

This solution would also satisfy the democrats who want nationalized health care.

Well lets not fix problems like transparency of cost or quality issues, lets just force everyone into a system that they have no ability to ask of cost or quality. Let us not try to open up the medical field such as allowing other groups outside of AMA have a voice, no lets not even consider that.

I went to the dentist (oral surgeon), and had some work done. During the first consultation I was informed of price, itemize list upfront! The surgeon told me of his ability and credentials, I felt as though every thing being done was in the open and my comfort was of high importance. Never expierence that kind of service from a medical Dr., wonder why? It was pretty nice to, showed up on time and was in the chair in 5 minutes, TV playing as they gave me some gas. Surgeon comes in an sets up an IV within 10 minutes (i guess) and I went to sleep. Woke up and my wife had pulled the car up to a door that was about 5 feet from my chair. I mean it was a very pleasing expierence, I was impressed! Just wonder why I can't get that kind of treatment at a Medical Dr's office?

Entire procedure took 1 hour, just as the surgeon said it would! I couldn't believe it! Cost, exactly as what I was told, wow is that crazy or what?

That might work as long as the junk, limited benefit plans sold by MEGA and a few others were not allowed to meet the requirement. If coverage pays $20K on a $100K hospital bill and the patient is left bankrupt and the hospital with a sizeable write-off then we haven't fixed all that much.

I agree. People shouldn't be able to choose a MEGA or a United American Flex Gaurd plan as their lawfully required health coverage. In fact, those plans are so deceptive that they shouldn't be legal anyway except maybe as a supplement to other coverage.

I just think that as far as people who are concerned about the uninsured people in America will be satisfied and at the same time we will keep competition in the health care industry. I can't believe that some of our government leaders would even consider nationalized health care. Morons IMO!! How long does socialism need to fail before they reallize that it doesn't work? Not to mention that - although expensive - our health care system is bar none the best in the world. In other words, health care is one of the main competitive edges that we have over any other country. HMM lets destroy it shall we...

Just to play devils advocate here, let me bring up Cuba. Believe it or not the word is Cuba has a terrific medical field, as amazing as that sound they also beat us on things such as child mortality! Oh well, sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. No doubt they do not have the advance medicine as we but their Dr to Patient ratio is much smaller and unlike the Canadians and Europeans as far as I can tell they have no wait to see their Dr's much like ours. Strange how these things happen? Cuba??? I never would of thunk it!

LOL, oh well nothing is perfect. Maybe we can take our violent prisoners and put them on a raft for Cuba?

When I hear complaints about our country I'm reminded of "The Birthmark" by Hawthorne. In that story a scientist marries the perfect woman however she has a birthmark on her cheek. Despite her incredible beauty her husband was obsessed with getting rid of her birthmark thereby making her perfect. He prepares a potion for her to drink. She drinks it and the birthmark fades. Now she's perfect, but the potion kills her.

Not you - just that everything has to be "fixed." There are flaws with any system; flaws with our and flaws with universal systems in other countries.

It is human nature do seek to fix things, even things not broken! Lets face it, much of the Cuban claims of medicine is suspected to be bloviating at its best.

Then you always have groups like this, Walmart and Unions come together to support Universal Healthcare. Can't believe some people are stupid enough to fall for this crap!

Plus lets not forget about the tax code! I mean why should corporations, unions and other companies that employ people want real change? I mean they are being subsidize by the US Government to provide healthcare! If you are not willing to look at the real culprits in this fight than you are singing Dixie and have no answers.

Eliminate all tax codes of medicine delivery and a lot of the problems will fix themselves in short order.
