Re: Health Insurance leads! Telemarketed!Go to Top
Good luck Gordo, I had asked for the leads Ray had posted mid month for Georgia, he apparently didn't see my request, or chose to send them elsewhere, hope he sees your request.
I would really like to see the results from those who DID get a lead. Were the leads good, bad, bogus?
I have not seen any results posted about the quality of the leads RB supposedly gave away.
Re: Health Insurance leads! Telemarketed!Go to Top
I'm sorry to hear that you missed out on the FREE ones but your anamosity and subtle claim that i'm not giving them out is rediculous. I stand up form my product and so i gave a few out FREE. I doubt you would have posted this if you would have gotten one of those.
If you wanted a lead all you had to do is post for it and give me your contact info. You obviously didn't post like I asked people to or you didn't give me your contact info. You say you haven't read any good feedback, read again Lou has had great success so far as he got 3 of them. others too. I got reports of a couple that were un insurable but thats the numbers game, not all will be written.
Im sure a few folks will give feedback of the receptiveness of the leads and if they remember. Keep in mind that there was no obligation for them to post, although I hope they do.

Ray there was nothing subtile about my post, nor was there any anonymity. Following your post # 117, I replied in post #122 as you had requested; this was followed by another reference to a4s in post # 123. Not that any of that matters, it doesn't. I am interested in finding a new lead source and was simply curious whether the leads you are providing are any better than any of the other crap I've been buying. My dollars are having to go a little further today than before, and I'm interested in finding quality not crappy lead vendors.
More importantly, I am, as I mentioned, interested in the replies from those who tried your leads much more than I'm interested in your opinion about your leads. I wish you well, I hope you have great success in your venture, but the validation of one post does not necessarily give me cause to run over and purchase your leads. I apologize if you took my post as a criticism; it was intended to share my experience and curiosity.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Ray and the service he offers. A follow up on your original post or private email might have helped. Did it occur to you that he might of mistakingly overlooked your post?
Re: Health Insurance leads! Telemarketed!Go to Top
Your post in #122 was not sufficient. A simple email address. how can I follow up to see how the lead was. I posted #124 (in reference to your #122 post) to please email me all of your contact inform or PM it to me. You never did so you didn't get the leads. No reason to assume I ignored you. I actually posted that for that reason. If you would have sent me your contact info you would have gotten a lead or two but you didn't and now you are being negative towards this thread. I'm sorry but I don't see the wrong in what I'm doing? does anyone else?
For all of you that got leads and worked the lead please post your results. I'm sure not all were writable because in lead generation that is what it is but lets see how the leads were....from warmth of call, to their experience with our rep, to the actual interest that was there. Any feedback does help the other readers. Thanks in advance!

Lou
Thanks Lou for your experience, and yes, it did occur he may have overlooked my post. That is why I said in my previous post " Not that any of that matters, it doesn't. I am interested in finding a new lead source and was simply curious whether the leads you are providing are any better than any of the other crap I've been buying."
I'm trying to find a reliable lead source. I think what Ray did was good marketing, he may be a GREAT guy; all I'm hoping for is some validation that his leads have value.
Re: Health Insurance leads! Telemarketed!Go to Top
Raymond;
I noticed on your web page that you're offering scripting on the mortgage side of things. Are you planing at some point in the future to do the same thing for the health insurance side?
I live in the L.A. county area, can I get an idea of what the cost per lead would be?
Re: Health Insurance leads! Telemarketed!Go to Top
Great question? We will be doing some different scripts and also the new business database for others to generate their own leads just like we do on the mortgage side. We will probably help more people this way then with our leads as we can only take on so many lead accounts at a time.
Pricing for our TM leads are as follows.
10 leads is $22
20 leads is $21
40 leads is $20
75 leads is $19
100 leads is $18
All prices are per lead basis. You can spread out your delivery as you wish. Keep in mind that on the leads that end up closing, they have an average of 2.2 policies written per lead (average from the feedback we have been getting on actual closed leads). Thats the beauty of working a small business list, you have the potential of getting more policies per visit then going into a home. (not to mention that you can hit the surrounding business while your there and hopefully get another 1-2 policies on average) GREAT APPROACH TO HELP BUILD YOUR VOLUME!!
If you have any more questions please fire away.
We only have 5 remaining slots left in the schedule. We are limited so don't miss out on this!
Re: Health Insurance leads! Telemarketed!Go to Top

Also thanks for the response and all the great questions we have been getting. I appreciate all the support and advice. Would like to hear more feedback from these leads that you have provided, I have not seen much feedback, seems that most of your leads are designed for Face to face,??
Re: Health Insurance leads! Telemarketed!Go to Top
We have gotten some good feedback on here from a couple guys who have tried the FREE bees. Keep in minds that because they were only generated in a few states and some were appointments, I couldn't even find people to take some of these as no one on this forum was in their area. Overall I think only 8 people got leads as most got multiple leads by the states i pulled. So far so good on the responses.....only a couple un-insurable but more all accepted the calls and were receptive tot the agent. so far in the 6 months we have been testing and selling these we have seen an average of 2.2 policies written per lead that closed. So if you buy 10 leads and lets say 3 of them close. You would write on average 2.2 policies on each of those 3 leads. Thats between 6-7 policies per order on average. You just have to call the leads and make sure you show up when your supposed too. Did some areas do lower than that? of course thats why its an average. Some areas also did higher which obviously balances that out. over all these are great leads and I love the reaction I get form the buyers of them. So far its great!
Re: Health Insurance leads! Telemarketed!Go to Top
That is correct, we do try to get you in front of each company. We do this by pulling a list of NEW business under 10 employees in your area and then we pound through it and generate leads on your behalf. The concept that you will be able to build a better relationship this way and help you write more policies. Most just want call backs and either way we warm them up to the name of the person who will be going into their business and or calling them. These campaigns are very personalized and there for they are expecting your call.

Raymond a update on the florida lead. I have contacted this guy 3 times and each time he acknowledges me gives me a time to call back then never answers the phone. so I don't believe that he is ever going to talk to me.....

Not a sale, but I think everyone will agree it's a valid lead.

Not necessarily.
And not casting stones, but I have several million dollars in premiums on the back burner of folks who email or respond to my call by saying they are not quite ready to do anything.
Re: Health Insurance leads! Telemarketed!Go to Top
That can be the only down side to calling busienss. Sure they are intereseted but they do get busy so sometimes it can become a chase. Maybe ask the guy if you can send i something next time through email or fax. My best advice keep hounding him. Im glad he is not just blowing you off and he does acknowledge you. Thats does show some interest so if you can keep trying you will get in the door. If you want my guys to call him and set an exact time for you again i can do that too. Keep us posted bud and thanks for the feedback.

Some of them will eventually buy, but most wont.
I agree, but how much screening can a lead company do? If they express an interest, are somewhat qualified (i.e., alive, breathing, have money), it's a valid lead in my book. Yes, you can get into filtering above this, but that costs additional time which means additional $$$$.
Telemarketed leads are not a slam dunk. I have found these can be as hard, sometimes harder, to close than shared internet leads.
My point about it being a lead really boils down to they acknowledged the call, they didn't just ignore him entirely. Okay, they blew him off afterwards, but it was acknowledged. Many (the majority?) of internet leads don't even do this.

I would have to agree as I have had the same experience.
One minute the owner is dealing with payroll then a call comes in about health insurance. The interruption sometimes causes them to say anything to get the marketer off the phone.
Having done telemarketing in the past, the majority of folks are nice but quick to cut you off. Some are just downright rude. A few will be receptive, but not many.
Our business (like most) is all about timing.
The biggest difference in internet leads and telemarketed leads is who is initiating the transaction. Internet leads are initiated (in most cases) by someone who has an interest in learning more.
Telemarketed leads are initiated by someone who is trying to keep their job and has no real interest in finding out if the party on the other end of the line has a genuine interest or not. Nor do they care (or know) if the person is insurable or if the person has the ability to pay.
Granted, the intenet lead may be just as uninsurable and just as poor, but some of that can be filtered out.
On the internet leads, I have some from Jami, (remember Jami?) who allowed me to keep calling and calling but always told me it was not a good time and to call back in a few days. I bet if I were to call them today the response would be the same.
Re: Health Insurance leads! Telemarketed!Go to Top
That's right Dan. And Somarco my leads give more info than just the old pass by stuff. We spend 5 minutes on the phone with them and then follow up again. See the deal with my leads is that they are pretty warm to the call because they go through two callers before getting to you. We make sure they want to talk to you and there are notes about each call along with the information we gather. If you notice Rick's client did acknowledge him but keeps telling him to call back. He's interested but getting caught at bad times. Rick should be bale to get him eventually.
Any TM lead is much warmer than an internet leads although all leads do require work. The pros of calling business is that you usually end up writing more than one policy per sold visit, the cons is that when getting back in touch with them some times it can be a chase because they are busy (they are running their businesses).
