Health Insurance Question

Hello All,

I am preparing myself for the California Health Insurance Exam.

Is there a book specific to California that I should be purchasing in addition to the "EXAM CRAM" book that seems to be more generalized?

There is no, "California Health Ins Exam". I'm assuming you mean your, "life only" lic exam?
There are lots of companies offering cram courses in Sacramento.

Let me clarify:

The test(s) I am taking are:

Life-Only Agent and Accident and Health Agent.

I was just wondering which book I should be studying specific to California. I live in LA, and don't want to have to go to Sacramento.

I assume you are taking a course through a course provider. Wouldn't the have that information.

By the way, everything you study is virtually pointless, although required by the state. The best way to pass the test is to use an online site that will quiz you on many of the likely questions. You start to recognize the questions and have little trouble passing the test.

I was licensed so long ago the only question was something about insuring others if your Stanley Steamer causes a horse to "spook."

99% of the material on the test you will never use in your lifetime. The state basically wants you to know what is legal to do and illegal. I too pasted the test so long ago I've forgotten what is on it. I've heard you now actually need to study before hand?
I hope you pass. We really need more life agents in Cali.
