A dummy JavaScript file still live on the healthcare.gov website features characters from Star Wars and Transformers.

The file also features coding to upload a "Permanent Resident Card" PDF file for Marvel comic book character Wanda Maximoff a.k.a. Scarlet Witch) and data for Steve Rogers (a.k.a. Captain America.)

Another part of the code features "Maleficent Insurance" featuring a plan name of "Really Bad." :D

An address within the code points to a "Laserwash" car wash in Harker Heights, Texas.

Glad to see the boy and girls writing the code have a good sense of humor....we need more people like this.

I got an idea.....HHS should sponsor a Hack-a-Thon where hundreds of geeks converge and try and trick the system into enrolling them.
Offer 1st 2nd and 3rd place prizes 100k to 10k.

You don't need hackers, half the people are enrolled with bad info to begin with...

P.S., all code has geeky references. When you need dummy data, you more importantly need LEGIBLE and INTELLIGENT data. We use geek-culture references, because we all know "Clark Kent" is a full name and "Krypton" is a home town while "New York City" is a current residence. This way, we know that a "profile" is staying together, and putting data in the right fields. Pure dummy data makes that a whole lot harder to do.

So, counter-intuitively, these references are an example of programmers doing a GOOD job.
