Humana Accepting STM Expiration As QLE

Per H1 rep on chat board after their webinar:

STM seems to be a big topic. STM is NOT considered Min Essential Coverage. However, we at Humana are allowing its expiration as a QLE, for off exchange enrollments only. Other carriers may have different rules.

If I were you, I'd screen shot that message and save it for reference. That might be the only time a carrier employee placed it into writing where the public could see. I'm sure none of us would be surprised if that was needed to support your side when trying to actually make use of a QE from STM expiration.

(The other question, of course, is whether it's only "expiration" or if termination/cancellation/rescission are allowed as well.)
