Insurers: 2015 Exchange Rates Likely to Spike

I missed the state (was watching the news) but there was a comment that one of the states had 8 of the 9 insurance companies apply for premium increases in the neighborhood of 15% to 20%+

Doesn't look good. ACA is insane.
 
You're just looking at it all wrong trustandadvice!

The politicians will be quick to try and tell you that without ACA, those increases would be even higher.

We know it's BS, but to everyone else in the world, they believe what the elected officials on TV say implicitly.
 
The low info crowd doesn't understand that a 10% increase on rates that doubled under ACA = a 20% increase on Pre-ACA rates.
 
$100 2013 rate = $200 2014 rate.

$200 x 10% = $220 = 120% VS 2013 rate.

And if President AWOL could run again in 2016 most would vote for him again.
