Keep Current Plan for 2 More Years!

These clients will be like Grandfathered Plus. With Grandfathered accounts you cannot make changes except very slight ones. Most of my carriers are allowing these "keep your plan" clients to make changes like raising the deductible, for instance. So, essentially we have a little more wiggle room with the "keep your plan" clients than the "grandfathered" clients.
 
I'm still waiting on Texas to say "yes". But Texas let everyone renew 12/1 on the old plans, so I am cautiously optimistic.

Yagents is right, eventually they will fall off, but its huge breathing room for us on our Pre-ACA books and open enrollment next year. My clients will hold. They hate Obama, Obamacare and anything else that has to do with ACA. I had a whopping 3 move off policies last year and then it was only because they were subsidy eligible.
 
Tater, I don't know about you but I am making more (per person) off my renewals than I am on new business.
