Received this today from Assurant:

12-month Short Term Medical plans no longer available in Alaska, Florida and Georgia

Due to recent developments, we will no longer be able to market our 12-month Short Term Medical option in Alaska, Florida and Georgia. We will remove this plan option from our systems on Friday, January 10. In the meantime, please stop selling the 12-month option in these states. We are evaluating when we will be able to re-launch a 12 month option in these states.
Customers who purchased and were issued 12-month Short Term Medical plans in these states can keep their plans.
Please note the 6-month Short Term Medical plan option is still available in all three affected states.

What I find hysterical is that America's Next Health Plan is telling their agents - and I use the term VERY loosely - to sign people up, for those that don't want to pay for an ACA plan.

They are Next Health Plan for those who don't know. They market themselves as a Private Exchange. It's kind of like the Primerica for Health Insurance. I tried telling one of the lemmings that all they have to do is get appointed directly with Assurant, Humana, BCBSGa, IHC, and they can be their own "Private Exchange" without giving up a big haircut.

This is the look I got::GEEK:
