NY Exchange- Separate Courses for SHOP and Individuals

Hello All:

I know many are running from the whole thing, but I took the licensing course for the New York Exchange for Small Businesses.
It is required to act as Producer on the NYSHBE.

One word: Separate courses are needed for producers looking to signup "individuals" and small businesses. The catch: The licensing courses that would allow producers to sign up individuals have not even been created yet! (The licensing school informed me of this).

I know that this does not matter to many, but just thought it was important for some...

I will verify, I've been in contact with licensing providers, they said (beginning of the month) that courses *should* have been approved last week, and *should* start the last week of Aug, first week of Sept, somewhere around there.

I forgot to mention that the licensing school believes that the course might be administered through an online self study program.
