That's the republican battlecry now. In other words "we didnt present a plan of our own and decided to just say no and see what happens and to ostracize any member of the republican party who went near the process." Frigging idiots.

Meanwhile, things are not groovy over in the Obama camp either. You have to ask yourself why if he just made a big sale that he is out on the campaign trail trying to sell it the week after.

What a mess. I am going to leave the country and move to Wyoming.

The Associated Press: GOP's health care strategy: Repeal and replace

I hear Wyoming has amnesty. Something akin to the Viet Nam draft dodgers heading north to Alaska.

I realize you are used to the cold, but if I were going to leave, not saying I will, not saying I won't, I would become a citizen of the Conch Republic.

Winter, sounds like you used to like the repiblicans but not so much anymore......

You going with a new party or have you figured they are all the same?

Stranger things have happened and call me a pessimist: But I believe there is no way in hell the Obamination health care bill is going to be repealed and replaced. However, I have been wrong before. We would have to see a massive sustained groundswell the next two election cycles. Many Americans are too dumb and lazy and already dependent and becoming moreso.

Don't let Al frame my positions. I have never been a republican. Was a democrat for a long, long time and then became neo-con which may or may not have anything to do with the republican party.

It is true that I am against socialism but have been very uneasy about the republican lack of intelligence and strategy. The mccain-palin versus obama thing was a choice between two numbnuts for most of us. Next came the lead up to the health bill last year where republicans decided to suspend thinking and strategizing in favor of seeing if they could just give Obama enough rope to hang himself A couple republicans tried thinking and everyone in the party gang-banged them for even starting down that road.

Then, despite all their screw-ups, the repubicans were offered a gift from the gods last january with the election of Scott Brown and the complete collapse of Obamacare right at the same time. Naturally, they moved as fast as they could to screw that up by meeting with Obama knowing full well that they should leave well enough alone and that it would only give the public a chance for him to highlight the problems and the republican lack of plans.

Saw Sarah Palin screeching on TV at a few of these rallies lately. Good gawd, what a nightmare. She can skip the moose recipes and hunting and shooting drama too. I think I am bit more up to speed on that than she is despite all her beating of her chest. This about running the country, not a show and tell down at the lodge as to what you caught last weekend.

Their were consequences that go/went with electing Obama that cannot be undone. You can rachet it back a bit at the next election but you cannot unscramble the egg, particularly with the lack of conservative talent. As stated, I dont think things are rosy over in Camp Obama/democratville either. That is a mess too.

Sometimes it is best to just say I dont know and press the clear button which I do from time to time. Otherwise, you become an ideologue like Al where if the whole country collapses you are happy just as long as your man is in the White House. That dog don't hunt for me.

The problem with Neo Cons, like liberals, is they think their liberal foreign (American World Police) policy and globalist economic policy can be maintained without China, Japan, and Canada bank rolling us. To me theres NO EFING difference between a liberal and a neocon. Both spend money that isn't theirs for their corporate buddies. Liberals love welfare, neocons love warfare.
The rise of the libertarians is happening, they are too smart to vote for a dipshit like Palin (just as useless of a puppet as Obama), who the media is trying to showcase as the Tea Party Leader. They will vote their Conscience, and not their party or msm media tells them to.
As far as I am concerned Bob and Al are in the same boat. Both want global enslavement (or equality) one by crippling socialism, the other by crippling fascism....

And in many ways there is no difference between a liberal and a libertarian in that both of them think that their **** doesnt stink and everyone else's does. The libs and libertarians are joined at the hip about open borders and anything goes and issues like that. Fine.

Meanwhile why dont we skip the ideological ratholes and concentrate on areas where there is agreement among some libs, some conservatives, and some libertarians in regard to fiscal responsiblity and the fact that the Titanic still needs to be afloat in order to argue about how the shuffleboard game should be played.

The libertarians and the libs are always going to be more right than I could ever hope to be. Don't believe me. Just ask them and they will tell you at length. Wise up. We have a country to salvage- not goddam political parties or ideologies.

Unfortunately, until we figure out which ideologies have bankrupted us (socialism/ liberalism and being a fascist neocon), we are going on to repeat the same mistakes. Like Obama or Palin, there is no difference in policy, just semantics.
I care to disagree with your liberal libertarian image of them being the same. Just ask Rush/Hannity/Oreilly about their same **** dont stink attitudes. Open borders?? Are you kidding me. Every libertarian I know whats closed protected Borders. Maybe you should research the party principles before you spout off a reaction.
Maybe the libertarians are allowed to feel like they are right. Austrian Economics has never failed us, where your Keynes is setting the road to communism faster than Glenn Beck can say "progressive". Most libertarians have foreshadowed the massive expansions of government you probably have felt were deserved, the economic instability policies of NAFTA, Sarbanes Oxley, the Federal Reserve (what is their mission again? oh yeah keeping monetary values stable; looks like that worked considering we/the dollar has lost 95% of its purchasing power since its inception), and other lunatic legislation (cough, Patriot Act, cough).
I know you like to appear as the up and up political insider of the forums, the reality is, the failed policies of the shitty politicians neocons and liberals have bankrupted this country, and you guys want to give more power/regulation to them through various one-party type politics.
I think I am going to buy a wolf to gaurd my henhouse...
