So my agency has been getting prepared for this. We anticipate we will enroll at least 1000 applications by the end the year. Just one problem. We can't enroll anyone. Let me explain. Our clients have always wanted us to enroll them, whether it be doing an application or sending them the completed app for them to sign. Federal exchange does not allow that. Paper apps aren't paper apps. They don't have any plans and once the govt receives the paper apps they have to call back the client to set up a username to enroll them. Its double work and work the client doesn't want. Our clients will tell is just to get it done but we can't due to the security questions involved. The client HAS to set up an account and it will take about 30 minutes per application minimum. Agents can only quote silver plans no ability to quote Gold or Bronze if they get a subsidy unless you are on the phone with the client as they sign up. You can't quote someone and send them an email. So I am reaching out to a Everyone to see what you have done. How are you going to enroll people? How are you going to quote the special silver plans for the ones that fall within the special income levels. Agents have been duped by the govt. The insurance companies needs us but the govt won't allow us to sign up a client. We have a problem. I think I know which direction we will go but I wanted to hear from the masses first.
