Health insurance is my bread & butter and I only write life insurance when someone asks for it. The National Underwriter is a good all around source (also for P&C) so check them.

I have been getting agent's sales journal (www.agentssalesjournal.com).

Some good stuff in there. Goes over various lines of insurance. Lots of ads that promise the world, but since it is free, I don't mind flipping past them.
