Health Plan Administrators (HPA)             Go to Top

Has anyone heard of this company: Health Plan Administrators?

What little I have been told by my client:

1. It is a catastrophic policy
2. She has a $5,000 deductible
3. She says that she has no copay or co-insurance
4 She says that it is NOT an HSA
5. They don't seem to credit her deductible with the full amount that she pays out of pocket

I have done a google and the only thing I can find is that it seems to be temp insurance that can be renewed for as long as 36 months.

My client lives in Florida.

Any information will be appreciated.

HPA is a Marketing company that handles several insurance companies out of Florida. They represent several temporary plans.

They are a TPA for several carriers. Their product line includes STM, dental, international medical and probably a few others I have missed.

They also are the administrator for Humana individual plans.

HPA is a Tampa based brokerage for several Short-term products (Liberty, Standard Security..) and Dental. Admin is out of Rockford IL. I've placed clients w/HPA for years & they have always been great to work with! For now, Golden Rule's short-term med is alot less $$$ in FL so even though I like HPA, you might want to look @ GR /United 6 month.
