Hello from Austin Texas             Go to Top

Howdy to all,

I recently turned 50. I was in the insurance business for several years in my twenties. Have decided to get back in the insurance business. I do have my life and health licenses in Texas and about 14 other states.

I have also just recently moved back to the great state of Texas. Been away for 15 years. Long Story. I am living now in the NW part of Austin.

Anyway, I have not really started the process of looking for the right agency to get started with yet. Just landed a few days ago. Still getting the new place put together.

However, I do very soon want to get back in the game. I would be very interested to hear from any of you in this general area of Texas who can recommend a good place for me to connect with that can assist me in getting my career started again.

I am hoping to be able to work from home and do mainly telesales. I suppose at first it would be good to get started with a product that has a fairly fast turn around in regards to payment like an FE product or rapid issue life.

I look forward to hearing from any of you who might be able to steer me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Billy Williams

ScottishX,

I did not keep up my licenses all these years. Took the tests again a couple of months ago.

Welcome back to Austin.
I'm in the NW part also, its a gorgeous area.

You should look at Insurance Designers or Sterling Bridge Insurance Partners. Two great firms to get started with.
