Hello everyone,

I just wanted to say that I have already learned quite a bit from this forum. So, thank-you everyone!! I am not licensed yet, but am currently in the pre-licensing process. This will be a new career for me and I feel I am making a sound decision. I mean, doesn't everyone need insurance these days? My background is in office management/ collections/ customer service/ with a little bit of nursing thrown in for good measure.

I have begun my journey with an interview with NYL *very excited* and have also recieved some interest from Liberty, NAA, etc. *not so excited about these, they seem a bit shady*.

Well, I just wanted to say thank you and I hope this all works out. It's always a bit of a nervous thing when you feel you have to start all over again. But, the choices I have made have always been for the best and this one will be too!

Hi .. I just wanted to put my post here as well. I just joined and am am really enjoying reading what you all have to share on here. I cannot believe how much I have learned already. I am also new to the industry -- I started with Aflac and added some health after about a year. Now I am going on my third year and have also added life and long term care. I have opened my own agency (agent of 1) and am trying to learn the right techniques for filling the pipeline. It has been a difficult and financially draining three years but my desire to hang in here has been unshakable.

I am glad I found this forum and all of you.
