Clearly, it seems that Health Choice One is the GA for a new independent agent. However, I live in NJ, one of the few states that do not fall under their umbrella of services. Is there another organization out there who is somewhat comparable to HCO that a NJ Life & Health agent can obtain similar assistance from?

That is a good one. I am in NJ myself and was looking for someone to deal with individual health.

For group health, I can point you in the right direction. they do individual, but not that much of it. for group, they are one of hte largest.

Hey, I'm also looking for a good GA to go independent with. I wish HCO was in NJ. They seem like a great company to associate with.

Crump (formerly Bisys) is a decent one for life. They offer a lot of competitive companies. Also, BenefitMall for Health.

Let me know if you guys get any other information for NJ. I'm currently in a captive agency and really looking to go independent, but still need a little direction before making the move. Best of luck.

We do have a product available in NJ, but it is only a Comprehensive Accident Medical Plan - Guaranteed Acceptance though. I have been in touch with some of the larger companies to get the product more known. I would be happy to share the product info with you, just send me a message.

Although NJ has none of the national carriers we offer, you might want to consider working in multiple states. One of our top agents lives in NJ and sells in TX. Very successful agent with HCO.
