Getting down to the wire for the Ice Queen. It would be hard to see how she can make it at this point but I would not bet against her, knowing how hard it is to put a snake down for good.
Big week for her coming up. I just find it hard to bet against her but I suppose I said that. Would be sweet though to see her bite the dust.
I dont know how reliable the polls are because the democrats are drawing three times the number of voters than they usually do. That will be McCain's biggest problem. He needs to compete with democrats who are bringing far, far more voters to the poll than they ever have and yet he is struggling just to get the base to line up for him. Of course, Obama has never had to run against a candidate who disagreed with him in any substantive way. He and Hillary have minor differences about health care program features and whether to talk to bad countries or not. McCain and Obama are lightyears apart though. Obama may be more articulate but if you are in favor of immediate withdrawal from Iraq and things like that I dont know how palatable you can make it to those who are not so inclined.
First step, get rid of Hillary. Still a tall order. Not a done deal at all yet.
