Life & Health in NJ is a joke, very simple exam and when I took it you took them both at the same time. 40 hours class, 2.5 hour test, easier than what I took in Cali, because here I had to do a 12 hour ethics course also. Check online if your trying to do it on a shoe string, I liked 52hour.com or something close to that, I did my P&C + Life&Health in California with them, worked out well and you can do it part time with your usual work schedule, it'll take you some days but its ok, you'll learn enough to pass the test. Good Luck, I'm starting Indy out here in California in next couple weeks and plan to get my non-resident license in NJ as I have a huge natural market there that I can tap into relatively simply with low cost, I will probably set up an 800 number with a postcard drop to people in my home town, my family and I are well known and well respected there. Figured I'd put a picture of myself, company name slogan a few benefits etc. etc. and solutions we offer and see what sticks
