How do you "buy a book of business"             Go to Top

I know an ins. company who says when the agent want to sell, it can be had, for a price. These are agents working from home. But, every time I ask a mgr. he says that nothing right now is for sale. Must be that they are either keeping what the have, or never really grew the book to begin with.

So, anyway, are there business brokers out there who sell "books of business"?? Not really an agency. I mean basically life and health, agents working from home and building it up. Every internet search on this subject reveals ins. agencies for sale. Mostly P&C.
