New Hampshire is the Live Free or Die state and they will rough her up plenty for this. They will take care of her over time. Barbara Boxer would last in New Hampshire anywhere between five and ten minutes. It would just be oil and water. A complete and total non-starter. When a public official tries to bitch out someone in rural New England people still react as though King George III is trying to get uppity with you. In some ways the Tea Party mentality has never gone away since the first one. This New Hampshire politician will learn that in the 2010 election.. I say "new hampshire politician" but she was born in New York so will always be treated as an outsider with a hyphenated name. Not a good combination there. Election coming right up. She will be seeing herself at town meetings in campaign ads. Live Free or Die.

"The American people aren't stupid". She May be right on that. It is the representatives we have sent to Congress that are stupid. That is a pure fact.

I can't imagine in my wildest dreams Everett Dirksen or other statesmen of the past voting on legislation they had not read.
