I sell non-standard auto, but don't push it much, so I can't speak to what the average volume would be...
I pretty much agree with Gulliver. 5-6 'items' per week is an okay pace for a producer. 10 is better and reasonable production.
Of course, I think things are a bit slower right now. There are fewer 'catalyst' moments that make people shop insurance, i.e., fewer home sales, non-existent car sales, etc. You can still work around this, but it's not as easy.
If you have 6, you know what they are averaging. I would always be looking to replace the bottom one or 2.
