How often to Seniors use e health care?

Hi,
I am a grad student at UCLA and am curious about how often senior citizens use the internet to access information about their health, health care, health insurance, and refills for prescriptions? I am also curious about how appealing these online services are to seniors? If you are a senior who has had any experience with the above mentioned situations and would be willing to fill out a short anonymous questionnaire (1 page), please let me know! Your help will contribute to a study on how to improve internet health care design for seniors.

I'm thinking this is the wrong place to find seniors on the internet.

First, this is an insurance agent forum and although some of us may be seniors, most are not.

Second, 100% of the seniors who might be on this forum probably are getting health insurance information on the internet because this forum is on the net!

Lastly, a few of us might let you know how often we get a lead from the internet from a senior, but that wouldn't tell you how often seniors access information on the net.

Senior Citizens use the internet all the time. Except for those who do not have computers. Those people rely on AARP, Ed McMahon and Wilfred Brimley commercials for their health updates. Oh, and Walgreens for RX info.

The baby boomers internet usage is high. They have the time and love to compare and analyze plans.

The problem is that most web designers are young and hip and don't design pages for the seasoned citizen.

The market for senior user friendly website is huge and not enough marketers are attuned to the special needs of
Seniors.

I was thinking of creating a search engine targeted towards seniors called - Jitter Booggle

You know like the Jitter Bug senior friendly cell phone.

When will the study be dand is the study being sponsored by UCLA or are you working on your thesis?

I have heard seniors referred to as "raisins", you know all wrinkled up. Why not call it the "Grape Vine". You could have the dancing raisins as a logo. They will all be familiar with the song, "Heard It On The Grape Vine".
